Hey everyone, sorry i havent posted anything in a while, ive been so busy lately. I didnt get to do much for myself this winter break. But heres my final assignment for my clothed figure drawing, it was done totally by hand, and im starting to really enjoy working by traditional media. The assignment was to find a fictional historical figure, research them, and design a character based on the findings. THen we had to do 4 expressions, and four poses. it was fun ^__^
Beautifully done. Great to see you back again! The anatomy, proportions.. it's all very nicely done, and the negative space are also rather intriguing. (I love negative space for some reason ) The facial expressions are spectacular! I especially like the third one with the hair, her expression is fantastic. That's actually an expression I do on a daily basis!
Traditional media is lovely to work with. I'm recently getting back into it and going back to my roots of realism. Welcome back!
Hey there Mallory, back kinda, i start school in a week. Soooo, im gonna basically disapear again. Hahahah. You know something? i was so suprised you brought up neg-spacing, well coming from you i shouldnt be. YOu notice some of the most sutble things. Well, i spent about an hour or two moving them around. So i finally came up with this comp. I think you can see my jigsaw type comp goin on. I didnt even plan it, i just kept rearranging. Also it works in the way, the fighters are in the middle, looker outer is on the side, so on. Also, i was gonna trash the third expression, just because it was testing my limits. Adding wrinkles yet holding onto her beauty was the hard part. I think i spent three times as long on that one. But in the end, i said screw this, i have to. Thanks so much for stoppin by. I hope i can stick around to present more of my work. See yaz
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
